Standish Baptist Church was founded by our pastor, Gary Wilkins in 1986. The purpose of our church is to bring glory to God, win the lost to Christ, and to teach Christians to follow the Lord.

          All we believe is founded on the belief of II Timothy 3:16 of the King James Bible which states that, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God…”  Because we believe II Timothy 3:16, we use the Word of God as the absolute authority on all matters concerning our church and home.

          We believe that Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ without works.  (Ephesians 2:8,9)

         We are a church that believes in telling others about Christ and giving them a chance to accept Christ as their personal Savior. (Mark 16:15)

         We welcome all people from every type of background and nationality to attend our services. Our prayer is that you will be warmly greeted and that you feel at home with our church family.
